Server-rendered routes need a long-lived server

Console

Text.js error TX030: Server-rendered routes (…) need a long-lived server, which the … adapter does not provide. Use `text build --adapter bun` or `text start`, or remove `export const runtime = "server"`.

Why this happens

A page exports runtime = "server": it renders on the server and streams frames to each open tab over a session that lives as long as the tab. Static hosts, Vercel Functions and Cloudflare Workers can't keep those sessions, so text build --adapter static|vercel|cloudflare refuses the app instead of shipping routes that can't render.

How to fix it

Deploy with a server that stays up:

text build --adapter bunbun dist/server.js# ortext build && text start

Or render the route in the browser by removing the export:

app/ops/page.tsxtsx
// Beforeexport const runtime = "server";// After: the default client runtime
